Disband JAWI (Who hounded & harassed the 82-yr-old Kassim Ahmad & forced him to appear in court on many occasions. (he lives in Alor Setar & had to travel to KL), JAKIM (worst of the lot), JAIM, JAIS, JAIP & all state religious authorities now!!!

The above sentiments voiced by Mariam resonates with me. It resonates with many other Malays. With many other Malaysians. Being a bad Muslim or an Infidel has nothing to do with our disgust and contempt for these Federal and State authorities that seek to impose the will of their political masters upon us all.
Not the will of ALLAH upon Muslims but the will of their political masters upon Muslims and Infidels.
The tyranny of these religious authorities in holding the Muslims community to a standard of behaviour that they themselves and the political masters they serve, DO NOT adhere to, is audaciously breathtaking in its arrogance.
I believe that the final arbiter of truth is our own mind...and what we will accept as moral truth is ruled by our conscience. Religion is a matter between me and God. Me and Allah. Damm those religious authorities.
I will not allow any religious authority to intrude into these affairs...and if, because of that, I have to live else where - so be it.
